Open-Air Boma
Traditional dinners are hosted around an open Bon-Fire in the boma, featuring the best BBQ experience and the traditional South African “Potjiekos” which is the best braai-style dining experience ever.

Except for the Luxury Accommodation and the Restaurant, there are luxurious SPA Treatments in a tranquil bush setting overlooking the river environment and private deck dinners at the Lodge or on the deck of your own tent, Bush picnics along the River as well as anniversary and honeymoon celebrations. There Lodge has a Reception area with a Curio Shop and Lodge Office area. Wi-Fi throughout the Lodge area. The Lodge is powered by Eskom power as well as a generator room with 250KW capacity to kick in when Eskom is down for the whole lodge.
ACCOMODATION
There are a total of 14 x Tents. There is 1 x Reception, Curio & Office tent and a separate and Private Spa Tent. The other Tents consist of: 6 x Deluxe Tents: These 6 x Deluxe Tents are framed by nature and offer panoramic reserve views. Each tent accommodates a maximum of two adults. There are complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits, King or twin beds, luxury linen, Air conditioning, en-suite bathroom with indoor shower as well as outside bath and shower etc.
4 x Luxury Tents:
The 4 x Luxury Tents are river-facing and accommodate two adults. Each of these 4 x Luxury Tents have a Features a private sun deck with cold plunge pool, a Minibar with complimentary refreshments, either King or twin beds with luxury linen and there is Air conditioning. There Tents have both indoor and outdoor shower facilities with a romantic outdoor bath.
2 x Honeymoon Tents:
The 2 x Honeymoon Tents are located near the Perennial River and offer spacious luxury accommodation of approximately 80m² each. Each Tent has a private sun deck with cold plunge pool, a King bed with luxury linen, a private lounge area and there is Air -conditioning. There 2 x Honeymoon Tents have both indoor and outdoor shower facilities with a romantic outdoor bath.
1 x Family Tent:
The Family Tent offers panoramic views and exclusive luxury accommodation for up to 4 x Guests. This residential Tent has a private sun deck with cold plunge pool and consists of 2 x Bedrooms with Air conditioning, with an inter-leading Lounge Area with luxury amenities throughout including a desk and chair. This Family tent has both indoor and outdoor shower facilities with a romantic outdoor bath.
1 x Presidential Tent:
This Presidential Tent consists of two separate tents on one platform and with private sun deck with cold plunge pool. This Presidential Tent can accommodate up to 4 x Guests consists of Tent 1 with 1 x King bed and Bathroom with shower. Tent 2 consisting of a large lounge and Bathroom with a bath, the lounge can be change into a second bedroom if required. Both tents have Air conditioning. This Presidential tent has both indoor and outdoor shower facilities with a romantic outdoor bath.

Wildlife:
This area is well known for its support of both Highveld and Lowveld ecosystems, creating exceptional biodiversity. While this Game Reserve is home to only the Big 4 (No Rhino) it offers the feel of a complete Big Five experience. The Reserve carries over 5,000 head of game, the rarer creatures like the Brown Hyena is a spectacular species to observe. Birdlife is prolific, with 300 different species known in the area, including the rare and endangered species include: Narina Trogon, the African Finfoot, the Crowned Eagle and Secretary Bird, the Bald Ibis and the Blue Swallow as well as the Osprey, the Grass Owl and the Malachite Sunbird

Flora:

This Private Game and Nature Safaris Reserve support an estimated 2,500 plant species and over 20 protected plant species, including rare cycads, proteas, aloes, the well-known Barberton daisy as well as the renowned Pride-of-de-Kaap. Due to its exceptional habitat diversity, the reserve exceeds even the Kruger National Park in plant species density within Mpumalanga and is second in South Africa only to the Cape Floral Kingdom.
Expansion Possibilities:
The Current Owner has an additional 2175ha area set aside for commercial farming.
There are currently 3 areas approved for agricultural use in the future. There are currently 150 hectares of Macadamia trees that have been planted at ±800 trees/ha (120,000 trees in total), of which 50 hectares already began producing nuts in 2026. Thereafter, an additional 50 hectares will come into production in 2027, and the final 50 hectares will come into production in 2028
Allocated Water Usage rights are ±3,740,400m³ and Water Storing rights is 407,000m³. The above possible expansion and agricultural area does NOT form part of the 15,100ha Nature Reserve and could be acquired additionally through negotiations with the current owners.
