Imagine spending a lazy summer afternoon cooling off in our private farm dam, relaxing in the shade of the garden, or finding your favourite spot to sit back with a good book and absolutely nowhere else to be. 🌹 With roses in bloom, peaceful garden corners, inviting outdoor seating and a lovely braai area, summer at Klein Geluk is all about slowing down and enjoying the simple pleasures of Karoo living.

For the first time, Klein Geluk Cottage opened its garden to visitors as part of Nieu-Bethesda Garden Day on Saturday, 17 October 2026 - and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction!

With roses in full bloom, colourful flowerbeds, shady corners and our little garden gazebo looking its best, it was a pleasure to share this special part of Klein Geluk with fellow garden enthusiasts.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by, explored our garden and shared in the day with us. We loved being part of an event that celebrates beautiful gardens, passionate gardeners and the wonderful community spirit of Nieu-Bethesda.

Our first Garden Day is one we'll remember fondly. Here's to many more!

We're opening our garden gates, and we can't wait to welcome you!

This Saturday, 17 October, the beautiful garden at Klein Geluk Cottage is one of 15 gardens opening to visitors for Nieu-Bethesda's Garden Day!

With its gorgeous roses, whitewashed Karoo architecture, leafy corners and charming garden features, Klein Geluk is a little piece of garden heaven.

Come wander along our garden paths, admire the blooms and discover the love and attention that have gone into creating this special space.
And while you're here, explore the other 14 gardens on show, meet the gardeners and enjoy everything our village has to offer, from lovely coffee spots and restaurants to art galleries and local treasures.
