🏠 Your home loan is approved… so you can finally buy that couch, right? WRONG. 😬

One of the biggest mistakes buyers make after getting their home loan approval is taking out new credit before the property is officially registered in their name.

That gorgeous lounge suite on credit? 🛋️
The new appliances? 📺
The “just one little store account”? 💳

They can all affect your credit profile and affordability.

And here's the scary part: even if your home loan has already been approved, the deal isn't necessarily untouchable until transfer is complete.

Your financial circumstances can still be reassessed before registration, and taking on new debt could put your home loan at risk.

🚨 So until the property is officially in your name:
❌ Don't open new credit accounts
❌ Don't take out new loans
❌ Don't finance furniture or appliances
❌ Don't make major purchases on credit

Basically, keep your finances boring until you get the keys. 🔑😂

The couch can wait. Your house is worth it.
