Art for education. 🎨🌿
As part of the newly reinstated Plett ARTS Festival, Raphaeli Waldorf School will be hosting an Art Auction Fundraiser on the 25th of September at Helen Melon Properties.

They are looking for local artists who would be willing to donate a piece of their work to the auction; in return, they would retain 50% of the sale price, and 50% would go directly to the Olive Tree Bursary Fund, helping all children get the level of education they deserve all proceeds going to Raphaeli’s Olive Tree Fund.

The Olive Tree Fund helps provide bursary and financial support to families in our community, helping children experience an education that nurtures creativity, curiosity and a love of learning.
So we’re asking our local artists: would you consider donating a piece of your art?

This Women's Month, Helen Melon Properties helped Hope Rising SA provide period panties to 101 girls at Phakamisani Primary school. But what made the day so special wasn't just the goody bags — it was the workshop that came before them. Female teachers created a safe space and opened up about their own experiences, reminding every girl that her body is hers, and that she should be proud of it.
Hope Rising SA does this work across schools in the Bitou community, all with one goal: keeping girls in school and helping every single one reach her full potential.
