A back-to-back, jam-packed weekend for us and we wrapped it up this morning with another successful move from Walmer to Lorraine.

We got stuck in early, arriving just before 8am, ready to tackle what turned out to be a challenging but rewarding move. With a steep driveway, multiple staircases, and some interesting loading logistics, it certainly kept us on our toes but once again, the team rose to the occasion and got the job done.

To finish things off, we also dismantled and transported a fairly large trampoline, which brought its own set of challenges to an already busy morning.

Moves like these remind us that no two days are ever the same!

A heartfelt thank you to Chantellen, Livie and her family for placing their trust in us. We truly appreciate the opportunity and wish you all the very best as you settle into your new home.

Yesterday we had the privilege of assisting the Betz family with their move from Walmer to their new residence in Summerstrand.

This move came to us through a referral, which means a great deal to a small business like ours. Every recommendation is a reflection of the trust our clients place in us and for that we are incredibly grateful.

It was a fantastic day spent alongside a wonderful family and a hardworking team. Seeing everything come together smoothly is always rewarding and reminds us why we do what we do.

🚚 A Special Move for a Special Family ❤️

Two weekends ago, we had the privilege of assisting Arthur and Bev (Mom and Dad / Granny and Grandpa) with their move from their beautiful family home in Sunridge, where they had lived for over 50 years, into their retirement village.

A home filled with decades of memories, laughter, and family milestones making this move a deeply meaningful transition for everyone involved.

We understand that moving is never just about boxes and furniture, it’s about life chapters, memories, and change. We are truly grateful for the trust their family placed in us during this important moment.

A special thank you as well to Stu and Sunette, for the help, guidance, and coordination throughout the move, we truly appreciate the support.

To the Ahlschlager family, thank you for your kind words and for allowing us to be part of such a special journey. It was an absolute honour to help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

We wish Arthur and Bev many peaceful, happy years ahead in their new home, surrounded by comfort and care.

The past few weeks have been incredibly busy for us and we are truly grateful for the support, referrals and trust that so many families have placed in Skip's Mini Movers. We have another big moving weekend ahead on 6 & 7 June and we are looking forward to helping even more families with their transitions.

Every load we transport is carefully planned, packed, and secured with purpose. We take the time to position each item correctly, ensuring there is minimal movement during transit and reducing the risk of furniture and belongings rubbing against one another, which can lead to unnecessary marks or damage.

Loading a trailer is often like putting together a puzzle. Every item has its place, and every strap serves a purpose. It's a process that requires experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to treating our clients' possessions with the same care we would our own.

Another successful move completed by the Skip's Mini Movers team today. 🚚🏡

We had the privilege of helping a wonderful family settle into their new home, thanks to a referral from a previous client. Referrals like these mean the world to us and are a reminder of the trust our customers place in our team.

Today's move was particularly special as this family is about to begin an exciting new chapter, growing from two to three in the coming days. We are grateful for the opportunity to have played a small part in making their transition as smooth and stress free as possible.

Another Saturday. Another family. Another privilege.

Trailer is hitched, the team is ready and we are preparing to help another family make the transition from one home to the next.

It's something we think about often. What might seem like "just a move" is usually so much more than that. It's the end of one chapter, the beginning of another, and often a mixture of excitement, stress, uncertainty, and hope.

Grateful that people continue to trust us during these important moments in their lives. It means a lot to us that families invite us into their homes and trust us with the things that matter to them.

So while most people are easing into their Saturday, we'll be doing what we love, helping good people start their next chapter.
