SACAP Celebrates Outstanding PPE Achievers

The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) proudly congratulates the top performers of the Professional Practice Examinations (PPE) written in October 2025.

Last week we received news that SACAP contacted a number of candidate technologists that wrote their PPE in October to attend a formal online meeting with their stakeholders regarding the Top 10 Academic Achievers for the October 2025 PPE examination.

Camilla Moodley was one of the Candidates that were invited. Camilla started working at BNM in February 2023, after completing her diploma at NMU. After completing her Monthly Training records under the mentorship of Arinda Swart, she wrote her PPE in October.

During the meeting, which included three other candidates who also placed in the Top 10, SACAP announced the respective national rankings.

We are very proud to share that Camilla was placed first nationally, with an average of 90% for both paper 1 and paper 2.

Camilla will be doing her BTech at NMU this year and we wish her all the best for this endeavour.

Mas’ood Shabudin also wrote his PPE and passed - enabling him to upgrade from Candidate to Professional Architectural Technologist. We are very proud of you.

BNM supports and endorses young professionals to register with SACAP.

This year, BNM proudly celebrates 100 years in business! The firm, in its original form, was started back in 1925 by Hendrik Siemerink who was joined by his daughter Truida and her husband Jack Brinkman, the firm initially being known as Siemerink & Brinkman Architects.
