Job Opportunity: Residential Facilities Coordinator
We are seeking a reliable, multi-skilled individual to manage and maintain our student housing facility in Gqeberha. This is a live-in position designed for someone who is proactive in property care and dedicated to resident safety.
On-Site Accommodation Included
This role comes with the benefit of full on-site accommodation. You will be provided with a private, single-bedroom flat including:
A private kitchen.
An ensuite bathroom with a shower.
Utilities Included: Water and electricity are fully covered as part of the package.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance: Ensure the building is opened and locked securely daily and maintain a safe, clean, and habitable environment according to health and safety regulations.
Technical Knowledge (Highly Valued): A significant bonus will be given to applicants with general house maintenance knowledge, specifically in plumbing and electrical work.
Operational Management: Monitor and manage room bookings and maintain stock levels for all cleaning materials, tools, and furnishings.
Communication & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for students, management, and contractors , and provide basic first aid to students when necessary.
General Duties: Perform any other duties reasonably required for the care and maintenance of the property.
Requirements & Schedule
Primary Location: 40 Middle Ave, North End, Gqeberha.
Standard Hours: 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility: You may be required to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays based on operational needs, with compensation or time-off provided in accordance with the BCEA.
Remuneration & Application
Market-related rates.
Statutory deductions such as PAYE and UIF will be deducted as required by law.
