After 26 years' experience in the motor industry, 18 of which was in sales, I decided to venture down new avenues and pursued Media Consulting in an attempt to broaden my scope and learn something about a different field. Whilst I enjoyed the experience and challenges it held, I very soon came to realize that I am missing the personal interaction I enjoyed with my customers in the motor industry.
As an individual with a heart for people, I decided that I could not get more personal interaction in the business world than assisting someone in finding and buying their dream home. I entered the real estate industry and after about 2 years I met James Conyers and his family. We clicked immediately and my motivation for joining his company was cemented by his strong values, innovative way of looking at real estate; specifically for our market in Port Elizabeth. His unparalleled level of integrity resonates with me 100% and I am thrilled and extremely proud to be part of the team at NRG Port Elizabeth where values and culture is not just talked about but lived in the true sense of the word. I see real estate as a peoples’ business first and foremost and I thoroughly enjoy the interaction with those who form the heart and soul of any discussion or negotiation around the stone and mortar that initially brought us together. I was a single mom to my sons Jardin (now34) and Cameron (now 32), for about 17 years until I met the most amazing man whom I married 10 years ago. Mornè and I are the blessed parents of a little 9 year old treasure, Theo who has been with us since October 2013 when he was just 20 months old. I need 6 more credits to complete my Marketing and Sales Management Diploma at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and hope to complete it in 2023
I have a heart for people and in everything I do that comes to the fore. My values encourage me to just do the best for everybody I come into contact with. I believe you attempt every task with all you have to ensure the best result in the end, or you just don't do it at all. In between my family life, work and a bit of politics I was also a member of the fund raising committee for Ithemba Lam Baby Haven where they took care of abandoned and abused babies and toddlers. The haven has unfortunately closed down since, so I now direct my time and resources at other charitable areas. You, as an individual, are more important to me than the bricks and mortar that brought us together in the first place. I look forward to meeting you as an individual and trust I will make the process of searching for and finding your dream home a memorable one.
