Did you know? Your body corporate must hold an AGM every year — within 4 months of the financial year end.

No AGM = non-compliance. And non-compliance can mean CSOS complaints, disputes, and real headaches for trustees.

At an AGM, the body corporate must:

✅ Present and approve the annual financial statements
✅ Adopt the budget for the coming year
✅ Elect trustees for the new term
✅ Appoint or reappoint the auditor
✅ Deal with any special business properly placed on the agenda

Trustees must give all owners at least 14 days' written notice before the meeting — including the agenda, financial statements, and proposed budget. If your AGM has been skipped or delayed, it needs to happen now — not next month.
