Dear Student Housing Provider
We hope you are well.
It has come to our attention that there are student housing providers (SHPs) who have been recruiting students at the University campuses. Please be advised that this conduct is strictly prohibited. Under no circumstances are SHPs permitted to physically recruit students at campuses.
All SHPs are advised that in terms of the rules and policies of the University and TUTEH Prop, residences are to be filled in the following chronological order and that each category of residences must be full before the next category can resume to take in students:
1. University-owned residences:
2. University-leased residences:
3. A-Graded Accredited residences; and
4. The rest of the accredited residences.
Failure by any SHP to observe and follow the above may lead to delayed onboarding which may result in delayed payments.
All SHPs shall formally be notified when they become eligible to take in students.
*Student shall themselves source and procure accommodation exclusively through T-Res.
