A considered response to climate, context and way of life, House Decorvet blends refined farmhouse influences with a warm tropical character.

Natural stone, timber, crisp white detailing and a dark pitched roof create a timeless, grounded aesthetic, while the generous wrap-around veranda connects the home to its landscape.

From South Africa to Madagascar and beyond, our architecture is shaped by the character of each place.

A home located on a steep site along the Garden Route, balancing orientation and functionality through the layering of honest materials and a strong connection to its surroundings.

Generous glazing opens the home towards the landscape, while double-volume spaces, deep overhangs and sheltered outdoor areas bring a sense of light and openness into the interior.

The pool and landscaped terraces extend the living spaces outward, creating a home centred around its views, its landscape and relaxed coastal living.

A renovation shaped by its setting.

This Vleesbaai home opens up towards the ocean with generous glazing and sliding doors, bringing natural light deep into the interior and creating a strong connection between inside and out. Warm, natural finishes complete a simple, timeless coastal palette.

Conceptual Design | Graskop Hotel

We’ve explored the conceptual evolution of the Graskop Hotel to illustrate how considered architectural interventions can enhance both the identity of the property and the overall guest experience.

The concept includes a refreshed hotel façade, a new restaurant, a gelato shop within the existing hotel, and an extension to the existing garden rooms.

Together, these interventions aim to create a more cohesive hospitality destination while retaining the existing character of the hotel and strengthening its connection to the surrounding garden and outdoor spaces.
