With rate and tax changes coming into effect on 1st July 2025, don’t delay—get your COMPLIMENTARY MARKET APPRAISAL today to ensure your submission is on time!

Property owners are encouraged to review the municipal valuation of their properties to ensure it is accurate and fair. If the valuation is incorrect, they must submit an objection by 2nd May 2025.

The City of Tshwane has recently completed a revaluation of properties for the purpose of levying property rates, and the new rates will take effect from 1st July 2025.

Residents have until 2nd May 2025 to object to their property valuation using the prescribed form. The objection must be reviewed before a final decision is made.

The municipal valuation roll, which lists the details of all rateable properties, is available for inspection on the City of Tshwane's website and at municipal offices.
