The Reserve Bank has officially CUT interest rates by 25 basis points!

🏦 Prime Lending Rate: 10.25%
👥 Unanimous decision by the MPC

Governor Lesetja Kganyago confirmed that the recent rise in inflation is mainly due to temporary, non-core pressures — things like the red meat market. SARB expects inflation to head lower again early next year.

📉 October CPI came in at 3.6%, slightly higher than September, but still better than expected.
