I spend a lot of time driving around Robindale, and there are certain little parts of the suburb that seem to have their own character.

What’s the one street, corner or little part of Robindale that you think has the most character?

Not necessarily the prettiest — just somewhere that feels unmistakably Robindale.

I’m curious to see whether everyone picks the same place.

Here’s something about Robindale I didn’t know.

Robin’s Koppie isn’t just a familiar patch of green in the neighbourhood. Local reporting records that Wits academics have brought overseas visitors here to see its geology and natural flora.

It’s also been a gathering place for local residents, including weekend sundowners.

I’ve noticed something interesting while looking through homes for sale around Robindale, Robin Hills, Randpark, Fontainebleau and Malanshof.

Every now and then, the same house is being marketed by two, three or sometimes even more estate agents at the same time.

As a buyer, what does that make you think?

Does seeing the same property advertised by several agents make you think the seller is serious about selling and getting maximum exposure — or does it make you wonder why the property hasn’t sold?

And if you were selling your own home, would you rather have several agents working on it, or one agent taking responsibility for the whole sale?

I’d genuinely be interested to hear what local buyers and homeowners think.
