A new retail destination is coming to Limpopo. Twin City's Malekane Mall opens in the greater Tubatse area on 24 September 2026, bringing 19,000m² of modern shopping space, 66 retailers and eateries, everyday convenience, a range of popular retail brands, and essential services under one roof.

With just three months to go, we’ve entered the most thrilling stage of bringing our strategy for Leratong City Mall to life — the stage where a 36,475sqm mall with an expertly devised retail mix and bold concepts transforms into real spaces and the vision begins to shine.

The 750-seat amphitheatre is now clearly taking shape, ready to host unforgettable moments. With a vibrant food court, a massive screen, and two dedicated children’s play areas, this huge events hub will pulse with energy as the Leratong community gathers to meet family and friends, enjoy themselves and create memories.
Its high visibility from the main intersection means the amphitheatre concept will draw even more feet into this 122-store world-class shopping destination in Gauteng.

The SACSC Gauteng Retail and Shopping Centre Tour is underway. RNS team members 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢, 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 and 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐢 joined industry peers at The Zone and Rosebank Mall at 07h30 this morning for a thought-provoking session on the power of precinct retail, followed by valuable insights from Cotton On Group on today’s modern consumer.

Next up - Fourways Mall, where the conversation continues with RocoMamas, around building lifestyle brands in modern retail, followed by a tour of the repositioned mall.
