🛍️ Little makers. Big ideas. 💛

Thursday afternoon was all about our Elaleni Kids Market — and what a wonderful afternoon it was!

Our young entrepreneurs brought their ideas to life, setting up their little stalls, selling their creations and proudly showing off their businesses to friends, family and neighbours.

There was plenty of excitement, a few proud faces, lots of chatting (and shopping!) and, most importantly, an opportunity for our kids to learn, create and have fun together.

We love seeing the Elaleni community getting behind our young entrepreneurs and encouraging them to dream big. 🌿

A big thank you to everyone who came out to support them — you helped make their afternoon extra special! 💛

🌿 A little lesson from the veggie garden…

Sometimes, the best classroom is right outside your front door.

Our bees have been busy buzzing through the basil in the Elaleni veggie garden — a tiny, beautiful reminder of the incredible world happening all around us.

There’s something special about children growing up with the opportunity to see, touch and experience nature. To notice the bees. Watch the birds. Dig in the soil. Grow something from a seed. And understand that we are part of a much bigger ecosystem.

Because when we help children connect with nature, we help them learn to care for it too. 🌱🐝

And perhaps that’s one of the greatest gifts of growing up at Elaleni.

Movie nights under the stars… there’s something truly magical about them. ✨🎬

Blankets on the lawn, popcorn in hand, little ones laughing, neighbours catching up, and a favourite film playing beneath the evening sky.

These are the moments that turn neighbours into friends and make Elaleni feel so much more than just a place to live.

A huge thank you to the 1st Ballito Scouts for serving up such delicious food, and to Pam Golding Ballito for treating everyone to the most delicious hot chocolate—it was the perfect addition to a wonderful evening.

Already looking forward to the next one. 🤍

Safe to say… we’re all counting down until the Harvest Barn is finished 🌿✨

A beautiful new space for the community to gather, move, connect and unwind — complete with a restaurant, kids’ play area, gym, change rooms and pool.

We already know it’s going to become one of the most loved spots on the estate, and we cannot wait to see it come to life.

The future of Elaleni is looking very exciting 🤍
