What it means when the property is marked " Under offer"

It simply means that there is a pending offer to purchase, which it still undergoing financial applications or pending on conditions to me met then I may be regarded as Sold. Note that advertisement may be marked Under offer for 7 -21 days depending on effectiveness of bond originator and buyer acceptance of bank qoute. When it's under offer, seller/ owner may not accept another offer from someone nor the buyer can not walk away from such comment.
