From our experience, agents often fixate on a single frustration at their current firm and overlook everything else that works well, forgetting that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
Before making a move, take a step back and objectively compare all the resources, support systems, commission structures and growth opportunities your current company provides against what the new broker offers.
By evaluating features side by side, essentially comparing apples to apples, you can really see whether the potential benefits outweigh any drawbacks.
If you find there are clearly more advantages than disadvantages, then switching companies could very well be the right decision for your career.
