🚨 URGENT PHISHING ALERT: PROTECT YOUR DATA! 🚨
Dear Valued Clients and Friends,
Please be aware of a fraudulent email scam targeting our community. We have received reports of phishing emails that are impersonating one of our highly respected rental agents.
🛑 How the Scam Works
The scammers are sending emails, often with subjects related to "Web Hosting," requesting a very small amount to be paid (such as R 99.00 ZAR). They are using our agent’s legitimate contact details and professional signature to make the email appear credible.
However, the services they claim you need to renew are NOT related to our property rentals and are not managed by our team or our offices.
🔎 Key Signs to Spot the Fake
Sender Email Address: The emails are sent from suspicious, randomized addresses, NOT from our genuine company email Seeff.com domain,
Irrelevant Content: We do NOT manage web hosting services. If you receive an email regarding hosting renewals from us, it is definitively a fake.
Urgency & Threats: Scammers create false urgency (e.g., citing an "expiry date" or immediate "deactivation") to pressure you into acting quickly without thinking.
🛡️ Your Security is Our Priority! If you receive this email, please take the following steps immediately:
✅ DO NOT CLICK any links, especially buttons that say "Complete Renewal."
✅ DO NOT REPLY to the sender.
✅ Report phishing or Report spam
