SOME FNB PROPERTY BAROMETER ESTATE AGENTS SURVEY FINDINGS

Some results indicate an increased demand for stock but not much improvement in realistic asking prices by Sellers.

As a result, a huge majority of sellers have to drop their asking prices to sell their properties.

Property 24 states, "The percentage of properties sold at less than asking price was 85 percent in Quarter 4 2012 according to the survey, and this rose to 89 percent in Quarter 1 2013.

The average drop has remained stable for the past four quarters at an estimated -10 percent."
