It’s been a minute since I did a proper introduction here!

For those who have been following my journey for a while, and for everyone who has recently joined, I wanted to share a bit more about who I am.

After more than 12 years of helping families navigate the major milestone of buying and selling homes, my philosophy hasn't changed: real estate is always about the people first. It’s about listening to what you need, protecting your interests, and making sure you feel completely supported from the moment we first chat to the day the keys hand over.

Now that I’m on the ground in Somerset West, I’m incredibly excited to bring that same dedication and care to this beautiful community.

Swipe through to read a bit more of my story and see what it’s like to work with me.

If you’re thinking about making a move or just want to chat about the local property market over a coffee, let's connect! 🤝

There are so many reasons people choose to move to Somerset West, but for us, it always comes back to moments like this. 🏡

We managed to wrap up work a bit early on Friday afternoon and within a few minutes, we were walking under the massive old trees at Vergelegen.

Having world-class heritage estates, nature reserves, and the beach right on your doorstep is exactly what makes the Helderberg so special. It really changes your day-to-day pace when it’s this easy to just step out and get some fresh air.

If you’re planning a move to the area or just want to chat, my inbox is always open. 😊🌳

There is a special stillness that follows a storm like the one we’ve just had. 🌤️🍂

Walking through Somerset West today, you can see the marks the weather left behind, but you can also feel the shift in the air. It’s that quiet "calm after the storm", a moment to breathe as the sky clears and the community starts the work of picking up and moving forward.

Taking a moment to appreciate the sunshine and a quiet coffee before getting back to it. Stay safe and keep looking up. 🧡☕️

There is something incredibly grounding about autumn in Somerset West. 🍂🍁

We took a stroll through the beloved Lourensford Estate this past weekend and just had to capture these views. While the world might be cooling down, our valley is coming alive with the most breathtaking, warm colours.

From crisp morning walks along the leaf dusted pathways to the golden vines resting under a moody Cape sky, it’s hard not to fall in love with this place all over again.

Somerset West isn’t just a location, it’s a lifestyle. If you've been dreaming of making this beautiful corner of the world your home, let’s chat. 🏡🍷

To object to the Cape Town GV2025 valuation roll, you must submit the official objection form by April 30, 2026, using market-related evidence as of 1 July 2025. Objections must be for specific properties, detailing why the valuation is wrong with supporting documentation, and can be submitted online, via email, or in person.

Steps to Lodge an Objection:
1. Check the Valuation: View the General Valuation roll (GV2025) online via the City of Cape Town website or in person to verify your property details.
2. Obtain the Form: Use the prescribed objection form, available on the City of Cape Town website. Note that different forms are used for residential versus commercial properties.
3. Gather Evidence: Provide market-related evidence, such as similar property sales in your area, to prove the valuation is incorrect. Photographs are needed for structural defects.
4. Submit Before the Deadline: Submit the completed form and supporting documentation by 30 April 2026.
- Online: Use the City's online portal.
- In-person: At designated venues or the Civic Centre.
5. Await Response: The municipal valuer will review your objection, and you will be informed of the outcome.

Visit the City of Cape Town official site to read more on this matter.

It’s easy to love a Helderberg sunset, but the numbers behind the view are just as impressive. 🌅

Since joining Property.CoZa Prosper, I’ve seen just how resilient the Somerset West market is. While other areas are slowing down, our local gated estates are still seeing property values climb by 8% to 12% annually. 📈

That mix of lifestyle and solid investment is why we decided to call this area home. I’m really looking forward to helping others find their spot in this thriving market! 🏠🏔️

It’s been a busy few weeks of moving and settling into the Helderberg. We are officially calling Somerset West home, and I couldn't be more excited about this new chapter.

I’m thrilled to be back on the ground and joining the team at Property.CoZa Prosper. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to this beautiful community and helping you navigate the property market on this side of the world.

Watch this space. I’ll be sharing some fresh insights into the local market later this week!

📉 Interest Rate Cut Alert! 📉

The SA Reserve Bank has cut interest rates by 25 basis points, bringing the prime lending rate down to 11.00%!

What does this mean for homeowners? If you have a R2-million home loan, your monthly repayments could drop by around R1,000!

While economists expect at least one more rate cut this year, the markets remain cautious.
