Over the past 18 years Velma has built up a healthy reputation of integrity combined with gentleness and kindness, in the Stellenbosch residential sales market. In 1997 she successfully wrote the Estate Agents Board exam and in 1998 she completed the Certificate of Residential Specialist for South Africa. Velma has had principle agent status for the past 13 years and in 2012 she completed her NQF5

principle agent qualifications, the new requirements for professional estate agents. Velma regularly attends workshops and legal updates to keep abreast of the latest laws governing the real estate sector. She is a longstanding member of the Institute of Estate Agents and for a period served on the Institute’s committee, for the Boland area. Velma has lived in Dalsig for 12 years and has also served as a member of the Dalsig and Brandwacht neighbourhood watch committee. After successfully running her own real estate business since 2001, Velma has decided to join the dynamic Harcourts group. She wants to keep abreast of the fast paced growth globally and be part of an international team, where she can offer her buyers and sellers a deeper level of service, not only on the web but through the cutting edge technology Harcourts developed for their clients. She particularly likes the Harcourts philosophy and values and would love to share them with anyone who has contact with her. She has always run her business with the philosophy that buying and selling should be a happy experience and the Harcourts values resound with her.
