Spring has arrived, and with it comes new life, fresh beginnings and exciting changes at Die Beloofde Land.

Our first villa, Die Sonvanger, has undergone an incredible transformation — now featuring:

🪵 New flooring, kitchen & staircase
🚪 Whisper-quiet trifold doors

These upgrades are taking Die Sonvanger to a whole new level, creating an exclusive luxury stay experience in the heart of nature.

Spring is a special time of the year. Its amazing how, on a daily basis, you see new life everywhere: brilliant purple vygies in the veld, minute little buds which in a short while will become olives, new baby Springbokkies, birds, insects. Life thrives! This year Spring is even more special as Die Beloofde Land is undergoing its own little (well, not so little) metamorphesis.The first of our villas, Die Sonvanger, has undergone some major changes and improvements. From the addition of two very spacious bathrooms, a central heating system, new floors, kitchen and staircase, whisper-quiet trifold doors, new furniture and very comfortable kingsize beds, guests staying at our exclusive Sonvanger will now even be treated to a full continental breakfast! There is even space for a helicopter to land! This places Die Sonvanger right up with the very best that South Africa has to offer in terms of fatm stays. Our other villas will also be undergoing upgrades and we are going to add another cosy little unit. In due course our name will also be changing to Kangkara ( loosely translated to "river valley amidst the hills") Olive Estate and Guest Farm.
