Zambian models from my experience and observation are by far naturally good. We are and still remain in the fashion and entertainment industry due to passion.
However passion alone cannot get you the crown or pay your bills. Most Zambian models lack training (physical and psychological) this is due to lack of qualified managers to prepare them to compete at international standard hence most Zambian queens leave no significant mark on international stage as compared to some African, Asians and American queens.
Miss World Zambia 2017 Maria Chibula presents the first ever for both new and old models, this is an opportunity to get connected and network with models across the world.
will be and given a choice to choice which international model from 23 shortlisted countries they would like be their manager.
