The distribution of our able union regalia in the District has commenced and so far so good. A number of schools(members) have received. To those that haven't received yet don't worry or panic that you've been left out, yours is coming. This is a union that values its members. To UNITUZ every member counts.

As United Teachrts Union of Zambia (UNITUZ) we have entered into an agreement with City University of Science and Technology to subsidize the tuition fees of our members. To all our members and the members to be study with the said university and pay less amount toward tuition fee.

The United Teachers Union of Zambia is the sixth teacher union in Zambia.
Our motto: money back to teachers.

On monday,16th January, 2023. As a District( Rufunsa) we received The National Executive Committee (NEC) on a four day working visit, which was concluded today. I can safely and proudly mention that we have had a successful Mobilisation and recruitment exercise. To the new members, we welcome you to your new family. We are looking forward to working with you and take our union to greater heights.

WITH UNITUZ:
1. You have the opportunity to get back your contribution after your retirement
2. Your family gets all the monies you had contributed in case of death
3. Projects are Guaranteed once proposals are put in place and a threshold of 100 is reach
4. The money raised from projects initiated by small contributions of members and additional cash from the union remains in the district for members to use during occasions
5. There is no protocol for obtaining funds to boost projects and there is total autonomy to project selection
6. Our female teachers gets K500 after giving us new life(baby)
7. All who wish to study at City University of science and technology have scholarship that's ECE, primary and secondary.
(Only pay K2000 for diploma/ and 3000 for degree)
8. We consider all wings such as projects and investments, youth and sports wing, disability wing, women's desk and social and distress wing
9. You stand the opportunity to share your vision, get involved in it and produce results.
