POULTRY FARM MANAGER - BROILER CHICKENS

Villa Prince Henhouse Manor is recruiting for an Experienced Farm Manager to work on a commercial broiler breeding and chicken farm based in Harare. This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding and fully integrated agricultural process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the farm and its team.

Responsibilities will include:

ensuring all aspects of running the farm are met
maintaining safe working practices
managing and motivating a team
ensuring welfare of livestock
ventilation management
feed management
vaccinations
production performance
record keeping
deliveries

The successful candidate should have experience in Chicken Breeding however someone with other poultry stockmanship experience would be considered.

You will need:

Effective people management skills
Ability to carry out manual duties

A competitive remuneration package plus accommodation is offered.

The Management and Staff at Villa Prince Guest house are extremely saddened to learn about Victoria Chakasikwa's death.

We are sad not only at the loss but at the loss of an exceptional individual who helped the company achieve new heights.

We regret the loss to her family and would like to express our sincerest sympathy and condolences to her first love and daughter Kunashe.

Job brief
We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail.

The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing

Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards

Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies

Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances

Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience

Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate

Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper

Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

Customer-oriented and friendly

Prioritization and time management skills

Working quickly without compromising quality

Knowledge of English language

High school degree
