Situated in the heart of Ruwa along the Harare-Mutare highway, Marcus Park is Zimbabwe’s first premium, green development. Far enough out of Harare to avoid the stress and congestion of the big city, but close enough to offer convenience, Marcus Park has been developed with the young professional in mind. The medium density project features 83 serviced stands, ranging in size from 250m2 to 320m2,
in its 1st Phase while its 2nd and 3rd Phases will offer apartment blocks as well as completed 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses. An upscale shopping center is planned in the medium term to cater for the residents and its neighbours. In line with the project’s long term vision, a world-class primary and secondary school will be constructed on site thus complimenting Zimbabwe’s much respected education system. To help foster the country’s economic development, plans have also been put in place to develop a Technology Park (Technopolis) one of the first of its kind in Africa. Overall, the vision is to create a self-sufficient Green Community complete with its own services and security. Aside from basic residential infrastructure and a durable road network, plans are afoot to install street lighting and to ensure fiber internet is delivered to every doorstep.
