At Hamilton Hill, the newly completed Community Garden offers residents of the 8-Star Energy Rated Eco Homes a shared space to relax, connect and enjoy. Featuring landscaped planting, seating areas, a barbecue, vegetable gardens and a fire pit.

These Eco Homes formed one of the final stages at Hamilton Hill and were Kite's first 8-Star Energy Rated dwellings, thoughtfully designed with sustainability, comfort and energy efficiency at their core.

This garden represents an important addition to creating a connected and thriving Dock One community.

The opening of the new Ityamaiitpinna Waadlakatha (King Rodney Bridge) marks a significant milestone for Dock One, strengthening connectivity and further uniting the waterfront community. First envisioned within the original Dock One Masterplan, the bridge enhances walkability and links Dock One North directly with the heart of Port Adelaide’s heritage maritime precinct.

It has been a pleasure working alongside Renewal SA, Blu Built and Maritime Constructions to bring this important connection to life.

Construction progress continues, with the crane now removing mechanical plant as the next phase of the Marine and Harbours Hotel transformation begins.

Built in 1978, the Marine and Harbours Building originally housed a State Government department overseeing shipping permits and customs operations. After sitting vacant for more than two decades, it was acquired by Kite Projects and is now being revitalised as a retro boutique hotel within the Dock One masterplan. Demolition works are officially underway, marking the start of its transformation into a new waterfront destination. With special thanks to BUILD inc, Enzo Caroscio Architecture, and Enoki for their role in bringing this project to life.

This marks the first of four stages for the Marine and Harbours Hotel, set to become a landmark addition to the Port Adelaide precinct.
