Alkimos Beach

Alkimos Beach Set at the edge of the pristine Alkimos Beach, just 40km north of Perth CBD, you'll find your perfect balance. Thanks and we hope you enjoy the page!

Alkimos Beach is located approximately 40 km's north on Perth on WA's pristine coastline. Developed by Lendlease and DevelopmentWA, Alkimos Beach is already home to over 1200 residents, St James' Anglican School (K-8), Alkimos Beach Primary School (K-6), IGA and a number of specialty retailers. The Gateway Shopping Precinct opened in November 2016 and includes an IGA, The Landing family-friendly tavern, cafe's, medical centre, child care centre, play centre and more, ensuring residents of Alkimos Beach have access to great amenities, right at their doorstep. The Alkimos Beach community boasts a number of Australian firsts, including:

- We are Australia's first 6 Star Green Star community! This means countless cost savings, sustainability wins and access to fantastic programs for our Alkimos Beach residents.

- We are Australia's first BeachSAFE community, with an Australian first partnership with Surf Life Saving WA. We are in the midst of supporting the development of our very own Surf Club. Watch this space!

- We have the first community scale battery storage trial in partnership with Synergy, located within Alkimos Beach. As every lot sold in Alkimos Beach benefits from generous sustainability rebates including solar PV panels, this enabled a trial of this scale! Rules of the Alkimos Beach Community

Dumping the camera roll from Alkimos Beach 📱🌊

Early morning swims, kids at the park, coffee runs, coastal walks and golden hour on the foreshore. Life here looks a little different for everyone, but there's one thing we all agree on. This place is pretty hard to leave.

This land has been cared for, celebrated and called home for thousands of years 🌊

This NAIDOC Week, we acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people, the Traditional Custodians of this land and pay respect to Elders past and present.

This year's theme, Fifty Years of Deadly marks a milestone. It's a tribute to the people who built this movement. The Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year.

Let's honour the past, empower the present, and shape the future - together.

At Alkimos Beach, living sustainably and living well go hand in hand 🌊🌿

As Australia's first 6 Star Green Star Community, every detail has been designed with the environment in mind. From water-wise landscaping and cool-climate home design to active foreshore conservation and BeachSAFE programs, sustainability here isn't a feature. It's woven into the fabric of everyday life.
