Sunstate Conveyancing have delved into Queensland property transfer numbers to see what is happening across the board.

The latest August figures confirm the market has continued to slow from the levels we saw earlier this year.

July 2026 | 14,996 | ↓ 19.8%
August 2026 | 14,232 | ↓ 5.1%
August 2025 | 18,056 | ↓ 21.2% YoY

August 2026 recorded 14,232 transfers, compared with 18,056 in August last year — a reduction of more than 21% year-on-year.

This also means transfer volumes have fallen by almost 24% since June, with August recording another decline after the significant drop in July.
