There’s nothing quite like getting back out in the bush with a peg bag and GPS.

Had the pleasure of working alongside trainee surveyor Charlie and her manager John Challinor this week, pe***ng biodiversity boundaries out the back of Muswellbrook. Charlie’s following in her dad Matt’s footsteps, who worked with us for years — it’s great to see the next generation carrying on the tradition.

At SEAM Spatial, we don’t hire to hit diversity targets — we hire for attitude. It just happens that our Hunter Valley team is now 40% female, a balanced crew who genuinely look out for one another.

Seeing the enthusiasm and curiosity of our younger team members reminds me why I became a surveyor in the first place. There’s a real satisfaction in watching fresh talent grow into professionals who love the work as much as we do.

Privileged to join our client FDC Builders for their incredible Melbourne Cup luncheon — more than 700 guests coming together and raising over $600,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Behind the glamour, this event is about giving seriously ill kids hope and joy. Amazing work by the FDC team — proof that good business can do great things. 👏

Lloyd Ricketts

This weekend we celebrate a true clubman, Lloyd Ricketts, as he runs out for his 50th game in the mighty Bulls jersey!

Since debuting in 2020 against the Emerald Rams, Lloyd has been the definition of consistency and commitment. Earning Best Forward in 2022 and 2nd Grade Best Forward in 2024. Whether it’s 1st Grade or 2nd, Lloyd turns up, puts in the work, and leads from the front.

He’s not just a player though, he’s a cornerstone of the Bulls culture. On the field, a workhorse. Off the field, a bloke you want in your corner.

Congratulations Lloyd! Your name is now etched into club history as the 6th Bull to reach 50 games.

Let’s all get around him this weekend as he runs out against the Proserpine/Whitsunday Raiders in Airlie Beach.
