Always Hard to get all the Ducks in a Row
Everyone's Happy
Every sale has a story — but this one was a little exceptional.
A big thank you to Brett the plumber, who referred me to the lovely Alannah.
Having worked with me on three previous transactions, Brett insisted she give me a call — much appreciated, Brett. Alannah had spoken to 4 other agents previously
Auction day was in our office last Wednesday at 11am (78 Markeri Street, Mermaid Waters), with strong interest leading in.
Then at 10am, a 21-year-old buyer called wanting a pre-auction inspection.
We made it happen at 10:15am, with the vendor kindly driving 30 minutes to open up.
From there, it was a quick dash to the office for the auction — arriving at 10:59am, just in time.
Six registered bidders, competitive bidding, and the young buyer secured the property for $2,325,000 — purchasing for his parents relocating from England.
A great result, with a 21-day settlement.
The buyers and the sellers were all happy and wanted a group photo. Pre and post sale auction board
The story didn't end there.
The very next day, I showed the vendor a rare "10 out of 10" apartment (a rating I don't give lightly).
Thanks Trish Walls for facilitating it all to get it together. Wow, Trish always knows her product.
Alannah purchased it (24/20 Queensland Avenue, Broadbeach - Sonata Building) on the spot
- $2,120,000.
Happy all round: Very happy buyer (and his parents)
Very happy vendor – 78 Markeri Street, Mermaid Waters
Very happy agent on the sale – that's me! - LOL
And on the purchase:
Ecstatic buyer (Alannah, my former vendor)
Very happy executors – Sonata Building, Broadbeach Ecstatic agent (Me again – It's all about me, some would say - double result)
A big thank you to Kristy Saliba, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and also front and centre. She was actually the person who suggested the property.
And to the hard working Trish Walls, who managed the Sonata sale process perfectly and seamlessly, so was very happy to sell it too
If this sounds like a long story it is.
However, this is the short version! That is scary
