A warning to prepare your properties for a busy storm season this year.

The territory's State Emergency Service (SES) is urging Canberra residents to prepare their properties for what is expected to be an intense storm season in the coming months.
"Without doubt, the Bureau of Meteorology is warning us this year of intense, dry days," ACT SES chief officer Steve Forbes said.
"Those conditions often create really unstable atmospheric conditions, which can really intensify storms. They can come with no notice and they can do really big damage to you and your family and your property," he said.
"Some of the most intense storms in Canberra have happened in our driest years."
ACT Emergency Services Minister Marisa Paterson reiterated calls for Canberrans to prepare and make sure they do "things like cleaning out gutters, pruning trees and branches, [and] ensuring furniture and things like that are tied down".
Mr Forbes said SES volunteers would be ready to help residents in the event of a storm.
"Our SES volunteers are always at the ready to make temporary repairs," Mr Forbes said.
"Should you get storm damage, you can give us a call on 132 500."
