Hi Canberra! Can the dogs at Domestic Animal Services call in a favour?

We’re looking for donations of old blankets, towels, toys, leads, and large or XL dog coats that’ll help keep the dogs up for adoption warm and happy this winter. ❄️

Towel and blanket donations are especially important for our dogs with shorter coats like Staffies and Mastiffs. It’s the perfect excuse to clear out your clutter for a good cause! ❤️

Please keep in mind that feathered or fluff-filled doonas cannot be accepted, as the dogs can tear them up and eat some things they shouldn’t.

You can drop off your donations, including old dog coats and collars, at 92 Mugga Lane in Symonston anytime between 9am and 5pm on weekdays, or 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
