The End of an Era ❤️
Today feels like so much more than putting a SOLD sticker on a sign.
Firstly, a huge congratulations to Lynda on the sale of her beautiful home. And Lynda, thank you for trusting me with something that I know represents such a significant chapter of your life.
This one was always going to be extra special to me.
As many of my friends will know, Lynda’s late husband, Tony, was so much more than a boss to me.
He was a mentor, a supporter and a confidant. He was a man I deeply admired and trusted - a true gentleman and a decorated police officer who had an enormous impact on my life.
Losing Tony last year was devastating, and understandably, Lynda’s world was turned upside down. So when she asked me to represent her in the sale of their home, I felt incredibly honoured - and perhaps a little more pressure than usual. I wanted to do this home, and this family, justice (in the real estate way) 😉
We are operating in a changed market, but somehow I always felt we had a little extra guidance from above. ❤️
We launched the property, held one open home, attracted genuine interest and, within one week, had it SOLD to a cash buyer at a price Lynda was excited about.
But the beautiful part of this story isn’t just the sale.
Lynda understandably had reservations about what life after this home might look like. It has been an absolute privilege to hold her hand through that uncertainty and then help her find the most stunning new home - somewhere filled with fresh light, beautiful energy and the promise of a whole new chapter.
And I think the smile in this photo says everything. 🥰
Lynda, congratulations. Thank you for trusting me to be part of closing such an important chapter of your life. I cannot wait to charge a glass 🥂 with you as we close this door and open the next one.
And Tony … rest peacefully, my dear colleague and friend. I have a feeling you were guiding us through this one. ❤️
