Supply is increasing and demand is decreasing in certain suburbs. So what does this mean..... have a watch......

Cotality (formerly known as CoreLogic) released this table today showing the median dwelling value growth in May 2026. It shows the median dwelling prices around the country. Perth and Darwin were the standout capital cities with dwelling values having 1.5% growth over May, followed by Adelaide and Hobart at 0.9%.

Although the headline numbers show Sydney and Melbourne dwelling values dropping, there are markets within those markets that are performing very strongly while some are not. In both cities it is the bottom quartile (the affordable priced dwellings) that are showing good value growth.

So if you or your client are looking to purchase a quality Investment Property, New Build properties are the way to go ✅
