We lived in Forbes before moving to Orange, so it’s a town I know well. It sits on the Lachlan River, about five hours west of Sydney, and it’s the main service town for a big farming district.

You get a proper country town lifestyle, with good schools, a hospital and a lake right in the middle of town, at a price point that’s well below the bigger centres.

The median house price is sitting around $480k, up 14.3% over the last 12 months, with rental vacancy at 1.4% (Stash Property, September 2026).

Still pinching myself. On Saturday night I won Regional Service Superstar at the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative (ALIBI) Awards.

The award recognises women running service businesses in regional and rural communities across Australia. I was one of 12 finalists, alongside some incredible women doing amazing things.

Regional buying is what I love. Driving out to inspections, walking paddocks, getting to know the towns and the people in them. To be recognised for the service side of it means a lot, because that’s the part I care about most.

Thank you to every client who has trusted me with their purchase, and to ALIBI for shining a light on regional women in business.

JUST PURCHASED 🏡

A great little investment secured completely off market in an established, quiet cul de sec in North Orange.

This property never made it online. Our clients were the only buyers through the door, and it turned out to be exactly what we had been looking for.

And the work hasn’t stopped at securing it.

With settlement coming up shortly, we’ve already been working with the property manager and have an approved tenant ready to move in, helping make the transition from purchase to investment property as smooth as possible for our clients.

Finding the property is one part of the job. Making sure everything comes together afterwards matters too.

A great result all round!

We secured this property in Orange and had a tenant lined up before settlement, ready to move straight in once the keys were handed over.

For an investor, that means no sitting around waiting for applications, no unnecessary vacancy period and rental income kicking off straight away.
