⚠️ COMMUNITY SAFETY ALERT – GLENELG FORESHORE

Last night at approximately 6:30pm, a female parent entered the public female toilets located in the walkway next to The Beachouse, near the Glenelg foreshore playground, with her two children.

While using separate cubicles, her 9-year-old noticed a mobile phone being held over the dividing wall from the adjoining cubicle, with the camera lenses pointed towards them.

The family waited outside, and a short time later an adult male exited the female toilets and ran away. He had reportedly been inside before the family entered, so it is possible he may also have been using his mobile phone to record or photograph other people.

The incident has been reported to SA Police, with a formal statement provided and relevant camera footage supplied. If you have any other information about this incident, please reach out to me or the Police.

Please remain vigilant around public bathrooms and supervise your young children when using these facilities.
