🔎 Get regular inspections annually
🔎 install physical barriers like metal mesh or sand around your foundations
🔎 reduce moisture by fixing leaking taps or reducing gardens directly against your home - try at least an 18-inch gap between home and garden
🔎 use termite-resistant materials when building
🔎 use termite-treated timber for garden beds etc
🔎 remove food sources eg wood and paper from around your home
🔎 keep your yard tidy eg remove dead trees
🔎 use termite baits
