Over the next 60 Days we are calling on Tasmanian charities and community organisations to apply for a share of $100,000 in funding raised by Harcourts Tasmania, and available through the current Harcourts Foundation grant round. 💙

Applications close on 3 November, and you can find the full eligibility criteria and application form on the harcourtsfoundation.org/australia website!

Over this time, we’ll be sharing some of our past grant recipients, and the impact that their Harcourts Foundation Australia grant has had on the people and communities they support. We’ll also add their links so you can learn more about what they do or donate to their cause.

⭐️ First up is Karinya ⭐️

Karinya Youth Services TAS provides safe housing, support, and pathways for young people facing homelessness across Tasmania.

We recently presented the team at PCYC North with a Harcourts Foundation Australia grant of $30,000 to fund their youth-at-risk programs. 💙

Their RESET & RESET Pathways programs focus on crime prevention and early intervention, targeting young people at risk aged between 10-18 years old. The programs aim to identify areas of need to prevent the onset of adverse behaviours and promote positive life outcomes through adventure based resilience building activities, collaborative sessions, and vocational based skills training.

* Note this grant is separate to the current grant round campaign of $100,000 in funds that closes November 4 - link to apply in bio.

⭐️ PCYC North are based at The Hub ~ Northern Suburbs Community and Recreation Hub in Mowbray. PCYC North is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of recreational and sporting activities for the community, particularly our youth. Welcome to the team Tayla! 🌟

Harcourts Tasmania is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tayla Long as the new Business Operations Manager for Tasmania.

Tayla has been a much-loved member of the Harcourts family since 2015, most recently in a Sales Support role in the Harcourts Launceston office, and brings a wealth of knowledge, operational experience, and a genuine passion for the role.

A familiar face across the Harcourts Tasmania network, Tayla steps into the role after building strong relationships throughout the state during her time with Harcourts Launceston. Her appointment reflects Harcourts Tasmania’s focus on developing leaders who already understand the brand, its people, and the unique needs of the Tasmanian market.

We’re thrilled to have Tayla join the Harcourts TAS State team, and excited to see her thrive in her new role! 💙

$100,000 is sitting in a fund right now – waiting for Tasmanian charities to claim it.

Harcourts Real Estate Australia Tasmania has already raised the money through charity auctions, events and fundraising tied to property sales across its franchise network. Now, a 60-day grant round is open for eligible community organisations to apply.

Applications close 3 November 2026.

"The money has been raised by Harcourts people through countless fundraising activities, and now we have the opportunity to put it into the hands of organisations that are making a difference across Tasmania," said Pauline Smith, Head of The Harcourts Foundation.

Organisations need both DGR and TCC status to be eligible.

Timing matters here – some grants could land in time to support programs running over the Christmas period.

It's a solid reminder that real estate networks can be engines for community impact well beyond the transaction.
