The 1.8Million Question: What’s the difference between the Sunshine Coast’s cheapest and most expensive suburb? 💸
If you think you know the Sunshine Coast property market, think again. I just analyzed the sales data for 20 key suburbs heading into 2026, and the results are wild.
The gap between the entry-level and the top end has blown out to over n1.8Million
📉 The Value King: You can still buy a freehold house in Nambour for around 823k
(and get a 4.6% rental yield to boot). 📈 The Heavyweight: Meanwhile, Sunshine Beach has officially taken the crown as the most expensive suburb, with a median price of 2.64M. (Sorry, Noosa Heads, you’re #3 now).
But the real story isn’t at the extremes—it’s in the middle. Suburbs like Baringa and Palmview are sprinting towards the 1M mark so fast they’re leaving skid marks.
So, where should you put your money in 2026? I’ve broken down the winners, the sleepers, and the "smart money" buys in my latest blog.
