A family home is rarely just about the home itself.

It’s the school nearby. The childcare drop-off. Weekend sport. Familiar streets. Local cafés. The routines and relationships that shape everyday life over time.

Our latest blog explores the growing pressure facing families trying to find rental homes that support long-term stability and a sense of community.

Great communities are shaped by more than just homes. They’re defined by the lifestyle, shared spaces and experiences that bring people together.

Within Eynesbury, residents and locals can enjoy open green spaces, walking trails, a championship golf course and the Homestead, all contributing to an active and connected lifestyle.

This month, Eynesbury Golf is hosting a Women’s Come & Try Day, offering women the chance to get out on the course and experience the game in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Melbourne’s median unit rent is now on par with median house rent (Domain, 2025). That shift is changing how many families approach renting, particularly those looking for long-term space, stability and flexibility.

As pressure continues to build across the detached rental market, the traditional “rent a cheaper unit now, upgrade later” pathway is becoming less viable for many renters.

In our latest blog, we explore the changing dynamics shaping Melbourne’s family rental market and why detached housing remains such an important part of the city’s housing mix.

Our Environment Team has commenced the prescribed burn season, completing the first burn at Parwan.

This marks an important step in the restoration of Grey Box Woodland, helping to manage weeds and support the regeneration of native vegetation.

We are also pleased to share that our Conservation Manager, Taylor, will be presenting at the Grassland Resurrection Conference on 8th May. His presentation will outline the results of a recent trial investigating the use of selective herbicides to control annual grasses within our native grasslands.

Resimax Group remains committed to responsible land stewardship and the continuous improvement of environmental practices across our projects.

Housing demand continues to build across Melbourne’s growth corridors, but the real challenge lies in how quickly supply can respond.

As 2025 has shown, delays in planning approvals, infrastructure coordination and delivery timelines are creating a disconnect between population growth and available housing.

As Resimax Group Founder and Managing Director Ozzie Kheir says, this gap is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

“The issue isn’t just approvals. It’s that the entire system operates on timelines that don’t match the pace of population growth.”

With demand from first home buyers and young families continuing to rise, addressing these structural constraints remains critical to improving housing delivery outcomes across Victoria.

At Resimax Group, every stage of the development lifecycle is considered, including what comes after completion.

Property management is delivered through Leap Real Estate, enabling a seamless transition from project delivery to ongoing management as homes become occupied. As an integrated part of the group, Leap brings a strong understanding of each development, ensuring continuity from handover through to long-term management.

This final stage completes Resimax Group’s fully integrated property lifecycle, creating a connected, end-to-end model that supports owners, investors and residents well into the future.
