🎈 Yesterday, I got to celebrate my 30th and the end of my 20s with my tight inner circle of family and friends.
I’m so grateful for the day I got to enjoy, and today, I’ve reflected on the lessons 20-30 taught me:
1️⃣ My greatest asset isn’t the things I own—it’s the company I keep. Keep a small, tight circle of great people you trust. The quality of your life is shaped by the people in it.
2️⃣ Nothing fills my cup more than creating memories with my immediate family and my two kids, Lenny and Goldie. Time and memories with them are the golden hours.
3️⃣ Be okay with delayed gratification—working hard today for future rewards that may take years, sometimes even decades. I reflected yesterday and realized that not once in my entire 20s did I enter a nightclub or get drunk at a bar. In fact, I barely drank at all from 25-30. I worked in silence toward a vision that, at the time, offered no immediate reward. But today, I look around and see the benefits of that hard work and sacrifice—my family now enjoys more wholesome experiences and the ability to travel together in my 30s.
4️⃣ The value of health—I didn’t enter my 20s prioritizing holistic health and fitness, and it showed. Now, as I reach 30, I prioritize health before business, and I’m the fittest I’ve ever been. If you were given one car to use for the rest of your life, you’d look after it. Your body is the first and last vehicle you’ll ever be given—treat it that way.
5️⃣ The most important lesson I’ve learned: The biggest investment you’ll ever make is in who you choose to be your life partner. has been a blessing, my partner in crime, and my biggest supporter from 18-30. A partner in business, raising two children, buying property and investments, life, and travel. The difference between a life full of memories and a miserable one often comes down to who you choose to spend it with. ❤️
Let’s see what lessons 30-40 have in store!
