May is Mother’s Month – we have a variety of guests booking stays for Mother’s Day at Nornalup Homestead and Sanctuary Train – on the actual day of Mother’s Day (Sunday May 10), or at other times during May, or even June. Some guests are booking to stay with their Mum, some are gifting their mum a stay. Some Mums are even booking their own solo stay at Sanctuary Train, as their own Mother’s Day gift.

March long weekend dates for Sanctuary Train are now open on our calendar! We usually keep these dates for our own family to ride, walk, sail, paddle and swim for the long weekend, but we have decided to open the dates up. It is the perfect time to be hiking, riding and paddling in the Walpole-Nornalup National Park’s forest, tracks, trails, rivers and inlets. Share and tag a friend who needs a long weekend stay in Nornalup.

Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club , if you are looking for a bit more comfort to attend the Walpole Regatta, we have plenty of room for boat and trailer parking.

Be quick, these dates will won’t last long.

EDITED TO ADD: These dates have now booked! We have a few midweek and weekend dates left in February, March and April for both Sanctuary Train and Nornalup Homestead.

Simon and I worked together to design this 8 metre, single level, 1 bedroom tiny home located in Nornalup. Sanctuary Train was featured on ABC News and various commercial media outlets for the Minister of Local Government’s launch of the updates to the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Regulations 1997.

Sanctuary Train is a unique train carriage inspired design with a star-gazing window above the bed, 2 burner electric hot plates, a 60 cm oven, reverse cycle heating and cooling, full bathroom and laundry and space for short, long term or permanent living.
