CRAIGIE & SURROUNDS PROPERTY AND COMMUNITY UPDATE :
Craigie continues to perform positively, with its median house sale price now sitting at approximately $978,000 and annual sales price growth of 17.2%.
The suburb remains an appealing choice for buyers seeking an established home close to the coast, local schools, parks, shopping and transport connections - while remaining more affordable than several neighbouring suburbs.
Across Perth, REIWA recorded 630 sales for the week ending 23 August, up 6.1% from the previous week. There were 7,204 properties listed for sale, giving buyers more choice, while rental availability remained limited with 2,083 properties listed for rent.
📍 Around the community:
🚧 The City of Joondalup’s 2026–27 Budget includes $12.3 million for road preservation and resurfacing, plus $1.26 million for the Eddystone Avenue upgrade between Joondalup Drive and Honeybush Drive.
🛹 Construction of the $9 million Duncraig Adventure Hub at Percy Doyle Reserve is now complete, creating a new space for recreation, youth engagement and community connection.
💰 The RBA has kept the cash rate unchanged at 4.35%, meaning affordability and borrowing capacity remain important considerations for buyers.
If you’re considering selling in Craigie or the surrounding suburbs, I’m always happy to provide a friendly, no-pressure market update.
