Artist statement: Our artworks within the play space here are about connection. Our culture, spirituality, and Mother-Boodja as one. Our ancestral people were all born into our traditional foundational ‘Boorongur Lore’. It is in our DNA, our totemic system of nature worship.

Our respect for and responsibility to protect and care for our Boorongur is how we maintain sustainable balance in our life/environment. We know well the power/life force (Wirin) of our land/Mother/Boodja.

Merse Wellness Spa WA coming soon to the neighbourhood
