Tami-Jo Richter, the Principal of the upcoming Aintree North Primary School - interim name, has been connecting with future school families and the wider Aintree community to prepare for the school's opening in 2027.

Last week, Tami-Jo joined the Aintree Community Builders Group, a network of local volunteers who generously give their time to support community groups across Aintree, facilitated by our Community Development Manager, Pauline Turner.

Together, they shared ideas about building a connected, inclusive and thriving community, and explored how the new school can play an important role in supporting local families.

Tami-Jo also recently held a couple of information sessions, where she met with future school families over coffee, answering their questions and hearing firsthand what matters most to the community.

A big thank you to everyone who has contributed their ideas, feedback and support. We look forward to continuing to work together with Tami-Jo to help create a school and community where everyone belongs.

Exciting news for local families - enrolments are now open for Aintree’s upcoming primary school!

Aintree North Primary School (interim name), opening Term 1 2027, will provide another public school option within the Woodlea estate to support our growing community.

Located at 10 Faldo Street, this school will feature modern facilities including learning neighbourhoods, specialist spaces, a library, community hub, sports field and outdoor courts.

With the capacity to accommodate around 700 students from Foundation (Prep) to Grade 6, it’s an exciting addition that brings more choice and convenience for local families, close to home.

As Woodlea continues to grow, it’s great to see new spaces like this taking shape for future generations.
