In the early 2000s, KT Lim stood on a quiet stretch of land in Melbourne’s west and saw what others didn’t.
A skyline in the distance.
A community in the making.
At the time, few believed in its potential. The land faced years of challenges, and progress didn’t come easily. But he stayed the course, confident that one day the timing would align with what he had seen from the very beginning.
He was right.
Today, that same site has grown into one of Victoria’s largest master-planned communities - home to more than 17,000 residents, with schools, parks, retail and green spaces woven into everyday life.
What once was a vision is now a thriving, connected community.
This isn’t just the story of Woodlea. It’s a reminder that great communities don’t always start with certainty. They start with someone willing to see what others can’t - and stay the course long enough to make it real.
