Sold prior to auction. One week on market.

The Sydney auction market is doing it tough right now. Domain had last week's clearance rate at just 54%, down from 65% this time last year, with 152 homes passing in and another 182 withdrawn. It's a tough environment for vendors banking on auction day.

51 Hardie St was a different story.

The campaign brought the right buyer forward early — exactly what an auction strategy is meant to do. From there, the real work started. We were on the phones close to midnight, vendor on one line, buyer on the other, pushing for a number above recent Mascot auction results. The deal landed and contracts exchanged within 24 hours.
