Last weekend was Queensland Day, and you may have noticed, Toowoomba had a pretty good week!

Ahead of Queensland Day, The Baker's Duck, Super Rooster, and Project 88 Toowoomba were all named among the best in the state. Best bakery, best burger joint and best gym? We’ll take that!

But as much as we love a good croissant and a Super Rooster chip, the food is only part of the story. Many are choosing to call Toowoomba home, with the cooler climate, the schools, the hospitals, the lifestyle and a job market with real depth all having something to do with it.

Before you panic, take a breath. Higher rates don't mean the market has fallen over. Around Toowoomba, buyers are still buying, well-priced homes are still selling, and with rentals about as tight as they get, investors aren't being left out in the cold either.
