Saturday market wrap
Buyer numbers are down to about a third of what they were three to four months ago, but the intent hasn't gone anywhere. Smaller inspection groups, sure — but properties that have been on the market a few weeks are still seeing two to four groups through.
Most of the buyers still out there have a genuine, time-sensitive reason to move rather than trying to time the market, and it shows — most properties currently have offers on the table. Building confidence with these buyers is what turns interest into action, and creating a genuine sense of urgency is what's getting deals done, including an off-market sale at 3 Surrey Road, Turramurra, settled before it ever reached the open market.
This week's spotlight: 69 Braeside Street, Wahroonga — a late 1800s double-brick residence on half an acre.
Expect more listings through the school holidays while supply stays this tight. If you're weighing up your next move, send me a message.
