The room was full, and so was the conversation.

Last week, Scion hosted the 18 Months of HDA Breakfast, bringing together voices from across the property industry to reflect on what the Housing Delivery Authority has achieved so far.

While the HDA has created a more streamlined pathway to unlock housing opportunities, planning is only one part of the equation. Feasibility, funding, market demand and delivery remain critical to turning approvals into viable projects.

The next challenge is ensuring these opportunities translate into housing that is relevant, achievable and deliverable.
